I'm Stupid...

| | Tickle My Senses (9)

coz I'm ill by overwork and I'm dealing with the consequences... I'm gonna stay away from computer and blogging for a while until the inflammation is gone.

I can hardly type because of severe RSI, a combination of Tendinitis [upper arm], Bursitis [shoulder blade] and Carpal tunnel syndrome [wrist and forearm]. Being in denial or trying to stay a tough cookie is not gonna do me any good. So for once in my life I've dropped the Capricorn attitude [read: stubbornness, perfectionism and perseverance] and stay away from my computer if I don't have to work. So no emails, no comments. I will be reading though but in silence.

Not a good time either since I'm in the middle of designing a major online shop for an important client. They approved my sketch last Friday, I've just finished another and I'll need to get the shop done by the end of the month... I'm doing work that normally at least two people would do: one developer and one designer: I guess I'm paying for it in a way. So if I don't rest, all of this would be a pointless effort and I refuse to go there...

Speak soon!

Teacher is going to make you write on the blackboard 100 times:
I am not stupid, I am not stupid, etc... ;-)
Find your stones you silly goat, lion has his :-)
Listen to arm, get some rest.

A month is plenty of time without overdoing it....

...cause you can :-)

I can't agree more with Jim re the teacher comment :)

Sorry to hear that you are not doing fine because of overwork and the RSI :(

Get well soon! and take care :) Big, big, big, big hug :)

Monica: thank you sweet friend, I am trying! Once feeling better I tend to get into work mode again so I'm still keeping an eye on my behaviour and not rush back into things ;)
I hear you though *hehe* Thank you for the hugs, love and healing light, you're always so generous :)

Jim: you have a sweet way of pointing things out to me... it makes me smile; don't change your ways please! :)
I love that last sentence... you're a mind-reader! I've found some nice stones last Thursday while in town and a birthday gift too, a small one but it's the little things isn't it? ;)

Wen: hi Wen, thank you so much dear friend! :)

I've been silly and didn't listen to what my body was telling me. When I'm on a roll I tend to work 16 hours non-stop because I'm getting over-enthusiastic, I don't sleep either. That's why I call myself stupid... because I know I shouldn't do it but I still do and have to pay for it later. *I hear you too though *hehe*! ;) *

Thank you, all three of you, for your support and care! Hugs back at you!!!

Yes, more and more I see and appreciate the little things.... all because of you.

Why is it now I even remember reading, "I saw two beautiful foxes."

Even though you didn't realize it at the time, you wrote that for me.

Guess what? Guess what? Huh Huh Huh?

(can't you see me jumping up and down? hee hee)

I just love you so, so I gave you an award. AND it's on my blog waiting for you when you feel better.

k?

HUGS - thank you so much for being your perfect self!

Love and Light,

Mon

Hi Tess,

It is good when you just stop and listen to your body and to your inner self. It is a pity yes that it has to be a strain to remind us that our body needs to rest.

wish you a speedy recovery.

I'm happy you notice the little things, they will guide you and help you when needed :)
And the best part: you will feel it too!

Monica: oh I see you jumping *hehe* Thank you so much for your wonderful award, my first ever! I'm jumping along with you ;) I have collected it but will wait a few days and then I'll post about it, thank you again and hugs back at ya!

Reuben: hi Reuben, thank you too! I'm slowly getting better but will have to keep an eye on my behaviour still ;) Good to see you back in the blogosphere, I missed your pictures and words: eye-catching as usual!
