Pick One
I love most of these words, they're all related to weather types [why don't you pick one and let me know why you like it...] My favourite would be Sultry, it makes me think of white beaches, a jungle, Borneo, dampness, heat and good company... Which reminds me; I'm going to Indonesia some day in the near future with two friends M&W... it's a plan and it's a start... And I also love Zephyr because it has such a lovely sound to it.

I like Sultry too, but the second definition in my Mac dictionary fits better what comes to my mind.
2 (of a person, esp. a woman) attractive in a way that suggests a passionate nature.
BTW, I saw someone's Flickr pics that I would call Sultry.
-of course the hot and humid weather reference fits in there too somewhere ;-)
Oh yeah. . . I have a cousin named Zephyr!!
solar corona catches my fancy somehow. Maybe if I were a creative wordsmith, I'd write a story or maybe a poem just on the sound of it.
Oh my, what's with the funky green guy!?
Hi Jim, good to see you're past lurking ;) some should seize the opportunity to do the same... There's always a day to start fresh and today seems to be that day.
About that poem: why don't you just give it a try...
The green guy is there because you haven't got an avatar, you can get yourself one here, just make sure you use the same email address you've used to post a comment here.
Lurking 'till the green guy goes away ;-)
(must take awhile)
Hi again Tess,
Lurking sounds so ominous, but I suppose it seems that way as I do tend to return often when I come across something/someone intriguing.
I'm a bit shy at posting where the world can read my nonsense.
Oh no. . . no poetry from me!!
Was my weakest point back in English 101. Although I might have images in my head, I could never put them in words.
I had to use Firefox on the gravatar site as it didn't seem to like Safari. . . maybe it works now?
Hi Jim, there's a blog on that same website where you can leave a fake comment, people do it all the time, just to check if your avatar is working. It might take a day, at times their server is down or causing problems.
No need to be shy, I reckon people will appreciate it if you'd say hello, even if it would be 'just a hello', I know I would.
If you've got images in your head you'll need a camera, that's poetry too and at times even better than poetry :)
moonlight
Indian summer too as that is what we've been having and I am reluctant to let it go.
Autumn (not on your list, but fall will do) seems to do something to me as well, I never quite figured out why I like it. . . memories perhaps?
Indian summer: I so envy you
Autumn/Fall: smell of leaves *mmmm* and colourful fungi everywhere
Winter: snow and ice on a sunny day while going for long walks
Spring: watching new life appear in a forest, buds, insects, animals
