Stone Age Employer
I'm still getting slightly frustrated by my last employer, well I reckon 'slightly' is quite an understatement really... I'm so happy I made the decision to quit the job and leave the country, it has been the best decision ever. But, and there is a big but; I do miss my colleagues. That's a different subject though. All was fine with my colleagues, just having to deal with a school [read 'Academy'] system invented in the year 1358 BC was not really my cup of tea and left me utterly frustrated at times. I had the same frustration a few minutes ago but hopefully that will be the last time I ever have to deal with it again...
My colleague Christiaan offered his kind help and it would've been so simple if he could've done what he offered to do which was picking up the annual tax document from the administration department and send it to me. The document has been sent to my address in the Lowlands though, where I no longer reside *let me count; for 7 months already, duh* and it seems to be a problem to get a copy and give it to my colleague so he can send it to me. Why do simple things have to become such a problem and instant struggle. I have the figures sent to me by email which is okay for now but I might need a copy of the document to send off to the tax people and providing me the copy seems to be a major issue.
Perhaps I was too subtle when I said the year 1358 BC, what I meant to say was; invented in the Stone Age when cavemen used rock paintings to communicate, the year of Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble. Wilmaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I've heard similar nightmares about Dutch burocrasy but luckily I have not had many problems myself... so far.
