xMas Shopping

I'm getting tired of xMas shopping. We have been out all evening on Tuesday and tonight wandering around a big shopping mall called Lakeside. I found most of the presents and only need to get a few bits and pieces here and there. 14 People that we need to think off and I didn't even include the extra people that I bought some things for... It's always a drag really unless you know the person so well that you don't need to think of things to buy.

I ordered stuff online, did research online most of today so I could pick it up in the evening. I found cheaper and much better deals online so had to take back stuff to the store and try to get my money back to go buy it elsewhere. I found a nice gift set for the same amount of money and wanted to get this instead of just a tiny little box with one gift. The woman who helped me on Tuesday was very grumpy anyway so I was glad I could take it back and make a scene to get my money back. Unfortunately she wasn't there and two other most extremely kind women helped us out and gave us another good deal.

Next year I will do things in a different fashion. I will buy stuff when I see it and hide it till it's xMas so the stress will be less. Just put it in a box and leave it there till it's time to wrap. It could be nice because you will probably forget what you bought over a period of a year anyway, so perhaps it's better to wrap it straight away. Surprises would be bigger when it's time to open them. I think this would be a good strategy. Let's see if I can get it to work...
