Lakeside
No hangover today! Just really tired. We went to a giant mall called Lakeside shopping centre with over 300 stores all under one roof. I bought some DVDs so I can test my DVD burner in my G5 and copy some stuff for Christiaan so I can send it off to the Lowlands. I also have been looking for a new sewing machine for a while but I couldn't find anything for a decent price. I don't need to do all the fancy stuff just mending clothes or redesign them.
I bought two dresses a while ago and A. didn't really like them so I will change those to his liking; anything to please him *yeah right*. It won't take much, I realise what's wrong with the cut, it is somehow emphasising features that it shouldn't emphasise. E.g. when I sit down, there is this balloon around my waist and up, which is blowing up because of the pleats that are positioned right above the stomach [too high]. It's Asian style but I guess I'm a bit too tall compared to the average Asian woman so it looks a bit weird.
I reckon once I've fixed it it will look a lot better. No time to do this in the near future though because I need to work on my portfolio and website. Anyway I've finally found a decent sewing machine and I'm very very happy with it. It's the first new one I bought. I had a second hand one before which was really 50's and had a beautiful design but was way too heavy for me to carry so I left it in the Lowlands with my neighbour who was very pleased with it. I've found my new machine at Tesco's super super store.
We also bought the DVD 'The DaVinci Code' and the first part of Lost because we've mist those. The DaVinci Code is a good movie. I don't understand why so many people were against it I thought it was quite amusing to be honest. Anyway not much more to tell you to be honest so I'd better wrap it up. Speak later!
