Week #19

|

Have not done much this week. I needed to chill for a change. I went to the hairdresser on Thursday and had my hair cut... Yes: about 12 cm is gone but it was quite urgent because of split ends. I wanted to cut it while we were in France because it was really annoying me while painting. Short that is, but I made a promise to A. not to cut it completely short. If it would have been my own decision I would have cut it jaw-length. Anyways, it is good the way it is.

I went to see my favourite printer [the guy who works at the printshop] and his wife. Haven't seen them for a while, they invited me in for tea and a chat. All well with them and business seems alright. I told them about moving abroad and promised to come visit them one more time before leaving the country.

I miss my bird and mice. They're still with my colleague[s] and their children. We wanted to pick them up this weekend but they were rather busy so hopefully we could do it this week. I really really miss my bird and from what my colleague told me the bird seems to be missing me too. He hasn't been happy, he has been quiet and not really interested. Normally he is very alive and I always talk to him, I guess that makes the difference. Wish I could see him again and cheer him up *sigh*

I was supposed to sort out some stuff for the academy but I ended up doing other things. I had to upload and build a website with about fifty pictures for A.'s father. Then after that I had a look at some stuff from a student; html and scripts. I finished it but it took me a few hours to sort things out. We will have to discuss it on Tuesday.

Thursday/Friday night I had a panic attack again at about three in the morning. Something unusual these days. I guess it is stress related; I have a lot on my mind still. It should not happen but it did: I woke up sitting up in bed staring into the dark and screaming: 'light, light' After a brief period I realised what was going on, crawled back under the duvet and fell asleep again within ten seconds. A. had to remind me in the morning about what happened because I forgot.

We watched a few movies; read more ...
