Oh Well...
I've been in bed since Wednesday afternoon because I have a high fever again. The moment my colleague came in I told him I had to leave straight away, go home and into bed. I cancelled my appointments that day and the next except for the appointment I had in the morning with my GP. I have been sweating all day and night, a good way to burn off some fat *just kidding* All I've eaten so far is a tiny bit of fried rice with vegetables, some Japanese soup that I made and oatmeal.
Strange enough I prefer eating the oatmeal because it's delicious and warm. A. brought me 'some fruit from my country' [that's how he called it *grin*], the Rambutan. He bought them at the market along with seedless grapes and some limes. If I feel like cooking tonight I will make some fish with lime and rice. I had some fruit this morning and fell back asleep again for a couple of hours. I feel so tired and my muscles ache especially my neck, shoulders and back.
I was supposed to go on this trip this weekend, up north to this island but I had to cancel yesterday. Carla wasn't feeling well either, I just caught her in time because she was on her way home. She had to leave work because she felt crappy so I wonder if she went on her own this morning... It was this organised trip and we were invited by the wholesaler to spend four days in a hotel on the island.
We filled out a form what we wanted to do; going on this safari bus driving on the beach in the morning, then in the afternoon some beauty program [massage, skin care etc.]. Sunday we would have gone blo-karting which would have been sensational! and mountain biking [cross country]. It would have been a great weekend, so bad luck hey?
Oh well, I can always take A. there and do the whole shebang with him, which would be even more fun. So I'm feeling sorry for myself being ill and at home in bed *not* I have a wonderful significant other who takes care of me, something that I wouldn't want to trade for anything in this world! Off to bed now...

Blo-karting
Calling all adrenaline junkies: strap yourself in and prepare for the ride of your life. Blo-karting propels you along the beach at speeds of up to 90 km an hour. Catch the wind in your sail and experience stunning views as you power along a few inches above the sand, wheels a blur as you race across the bay.
The Blo-kart land sailer is a portable, wind-powered, ergonomically-designed go-kart designed to run on flat surfaces, particularly suitable for beaches. It's thrilling, but it's also designed so that safety is paramount. The steering wheel allows the driver complete control over direction, whilst the sheet rope, attached to the sail, controls the speed. The hand steering is also an advantage if you have limited mobility from the waist down.
