Girls Night

It's been a hectic day. I contacted my friends a few weeks ago and asked them to set a date because it has been about a year since I saw them [at my birthday party]. So I'm going to have dinner at Barbara's. She bought a new apt half a year ago about 10 minutes from where we live and I haven't seen it yet. I'm curious. It's nearby where I used to live: one of my fav areas of town. Chanti is coming over as well. I promised to arrange the wine and Chanti deserts...

A. is still ill so I had to go and buy groceries for the weekend and some extra food for him because he can't have certain things. So I had to rush to the store to buy the groceries which took me about an hour because everyone seemed to have the same idea at the same time, I got all the stuff in 20 minutes but had to wait in line for at least another 20 minutes. When I got home I had to make dinner for A.. I made some Japanese food with rice noodles, the noodles seem to be good for his stomach. While he had his dinner I grabbed my stuff and got ready to leave.

It was really good to see my friends again after such a long time, we are all busy and setting a date to meet up seems to be impossible at times. We had so much to talk about by the time we were updated about eachothers life, it was passed midnight already and we had to leave. I had to get up early the next day because I had to work. Barbara had to get up at 06.00 and Chanti at 07.00. Dinner was excellent and we had lots of fun! We'll meet up again before I'll move just don't know when that will be... Hopefully not next year...
