Hilarious

We missed our plane tonight due to circumstances and a witch at the airport... Actually 'witch' is an understatement but I won't start calling names here. I realise I did that before but I'm in a good mood although we have plenty of reasons to be grumpy. I decided not to be grumpy and look at things from the bright side. This situation made me laugh to be honest, I've never missed a flight before so I just look at it from a different perspective and I find it quite adventurous *grin*

I had to call C. to tell her that we were stuck at the airport and that I wouldn't be there in the morning. She was at a party of her friend so she was having fun and not too bothered about it. She said she would call the 'big boss' to tell him about the situation and they would probably find someone in the morning to help her out. I will have to call her again tomorrow to give her an update about the situation.

We're flying back tomorrow evening and booked our flights online, we were lucky to get some flights since most of the flights were already fully booked or we would've ended up paying 440 Euros for a one way trip, which would've been ridiculous. M. came to the airport to pick us up because we had put the keys from the rental car in the box already and there was no possible way to get them out again *of course* so I had to call her to pick us up.

The kids were really happy to see us again and gave us a warm welcome when we got home. So we have another day to spend over here which is going to be another wonderful day, we might go for a long walk in the forest or take the bicycles and go for another ride up and down the glorious hills chasing the wild horses. We've seen quite a few today! They were all over the place, just an amazing thing to see!

Well I'd better get some sleep now and get up early to enjoy the extra time over here...

Monday; we slept in and went for another long walk in the forest, looking for the horses... It was wonderful and very relaxing. We made it home this time without any problems although there still needs a letter to be written to these idiots: we're going to try to claim some money back...
