Freaky Friday

It's been a terrible Friday... I had to start early and for some reason I started at 07.00 instead of 07.30. Carla called me yesterday to tell me that she wouldn't be in today. She had spent all night at the hospital till 06.00 in the morning because Daniel didn't feel good and he had been brought to hospital by ambulance...

So I knew that I would've to start early, but I didn't expect to start up on my own... No-one turned up and at 09.00 Pascal called to check if things had been arranged for me *not*. It was her day off so she didn't have to call, I was just lucky that she did. Anyway by 10.00 things had been arranged and by 11.00 I finally had some time to sit down and relax since a colleague from another store came to help me out.

I worked till 18.45 and had to close the store on my own after counting the money and making sure that everything was fine for Saturday. I called A. to tell him that I had finished so he could come to the store to pick me up. We decided to go buy our groceries tonight so we would have a quiet weekend. We rented a DVD and bought all the things we needed to survive the weekend.

The DVD we've rented was 7 Seconds and I thought it was quite alright, entertaining if you don't want to think and just watch a movie. We both liked it. I'm a bit brain dead so won't write much, sorry about that... Night!

2005 - UK - Action Thriller/Crime Thriller

Plot description

A thief finds one of his best friends is in jeopardy when a disastrous robbery turns out to yield the score of a lifetime in this action thriller. Jack Tolliver (Wesley Snipes) is a former Delta Force commando who has jumped to the wrong side of the law to take part in a massive heist intended to carry off the winnings of several major London casinos. However, the robbery goes haywire and one of Tolliver's partners is taken hostage by handful of brutal Russian gangsters. It seems the gangsters want something that Tolliver mistakenly grabbed during the foiled heist -- a case containing a rare painting by Van Gogh worth millions -- and Tolliver is forced to team up with rival Kelly Anders (Tamzin Outhwaite) to save both his friend and himself.
