Glasgow - home
We left at 05.30 this morning to go to the airport. I had mixed feelings and felt a bit emotional while we were on our way to Glasgow. It was quiet on the road, hardly any car. The fog was still there like a white blanket on the grass. Beautiful thing to watch that early in the morning. Everything seemed to be asleep still except for some sheep and cows in the fields who seem to be already busy chewing on something. Perhaps they never stop doing that, I can't really tell... ![]()
We didn't have any delay this time and the flight back home was easy. I met this old lady and have been talking with her for a while. When we arrived at the airport she asked if we could stay to help her out with her luggage. Of course we did. Unfortunately her suitcase wasn't there and she had to talk to someone to see what to do next. She told us that she would be alright so we left.
When we passed thru customs I asked a few people who where waiting for other passengers if they were waiting for an old lady. The first people I talked to said no but the second couple, a man and woman said yes, so I explained to him what happened and that the old lady would be there soon so they didn't have to worry. We went outside and took a taxi back home where we crashed. The weather was beautiful, very sunny and warm, just like in Scotland, guess we took it back with us... *grin*
Back in the real world again, I had problems adjusting... It all seems so stressful after the relaxed time we had for two weeks. Guess I will take it a bit slow for a while before diving into the whirlpool again...
