Still in the UK
We're still in the UK. A. and S. are getting the rented car that we left at the festival yesterday. I'm typing this in bed using S.'s wireless internet connection. I love it when people have a proper internet setup so you can just use all the available facilities. So here I am updating my blogger. A. just came in so they're back... Better get ready then. It's so warm outside, it must be at least 28 degrees out here and no wind at all, just a slight breeze every now and then.
We will have to leave in a couple of hours so I'll have to pack my stuff pretty soon. When we left on Friday I had to take my computer out of my hand luggage so they could scan it. They've never done that before, I thought it was a bit odd to be honest. I had to repack everything again because whenever I take it with me I make sure that it's safely packed, it was a bit of an annoyance having it to stuff it in the bag again. But since I have to bring it on the plane I better take care of it.
A. bought me a really cool gadget at the airport. He bought me the iPod Shuffle [1Gb]. I told him a while ago that it would be cool to have one so I can use it whenever I go running at the park. Most of the time I'm ahead of Dina because I'm taller than her. Normally I run ahead and after a few minutes I either run back to her or just wait for her to catch up with me. In the meantime I could listen to music on the Shuffle... So I've played with my new toy for a while. I'm really happy with it and copied some of my favorite music to the Shuffle so that I can listen to it on the plane when we go back. Thanks sweetie, it's an awesome gift!!! but I told you that a thousand times already *grin*
On our way to the UK I sat next to the window, A. next to me and next to him was this man. He had the most horrible smelling breath ever. I could even smell it sitting away from him. It made you feel sick! We turned on the fan so we did not have to smell that foul breath. We had a 25 minutes delay and arrived at Gatwick around 21.45. The flight doesn't take that long [although on Friday, every extra minute having to sit near that guy was one too many!] but we also had about an hour to drive. We got a cool car, a Peugot. Nice little shinny metallic smooth car... I will take some pictures later *grin*
[Darn, my battery is empty, had to plug it into the socket asap...] Anyway, I can't remember what I was about to write because of the power failure. I will get ready now, go downstairs and take a few pictures from the house, garden and the car... Will probably have to upload them later because of a lack of time. I will also have to write about the Festival still so I'll do that later although I will probably put it on yesterday [date wise] otherwise the chronology of events will be all wrong.
Later then!
