Housewife Design Award

I've been browsing for a while, just surfing the net, but I should stop doing that because it annoys me after some time, having to look at all the crap that is on the internet. Especially the type of crap that has been produced by housewives who have nothing better to do all day long than 'design' websites for neighbours, friends and other inbreed while polishing their nails during breaks. My message to them would be something like: "Get a life!"

It's a complete turn off to see what they actually produce, thinking that it is all that. It takes skills AND knowledge to do the job. And brains to produce something that has content and design mixed in. I'm not going to apologise for writing this down because it is my opinion and it might sound rude but that's because I am totally annoyed by that kind of crap. I could show you some examples but I guess it might offend some. Let me know and I'll mail the urls to you...

I guess what annoys me most is that these people call themselves designers while they're too blond [talking about hair color here] to understand the concept of that. Too ignorant to understand that one might need some kind of education and IQ level to accomplish results. It's an attitude thing. Don't call yourself designer if you don't even know how to do things... Don't pretend to know what you don't know, it will show in your 'design' anyway and the final result is a crap website.

Don't get me wrong, there are a few males out there who could apply for the 'Housewife Design Award' too. But it seems that most of these so called web pixel f%#@^#ckers are females. Probably because they have nothing better to do all day than discuss with girlfriends what gradient of pink they should use as background color...
