Wireless Hairdressers

I went to my hairdresser today right after work. You don't have to make an appointment but it's best to be there as early as possible so you won't have to wait that long. It was a beautiful sunny day so the perfect day to get a haircut since everyone wants to go out and enjoy the sun. I was mistaken... When I arrived there were at least 5 people waiting already. Very unusual for a Wednesday though. Anyway, the girl told me I had to wait for at least 2 hours. I was really looking forward to this so I decided to stay and wait. I wouldn't have time that week anyway so it was better to sit down and relax for a while.

I was faffing around with my cell phone, got some text messages in from a friend, sending them back and forth for a while and then all of a sudden decided to update some data on my machine. I had it on me anyway because I left from work earlier. I took my Powerbook and placed it on my lap. Yeah I'm a bit of a geek and therefore I felt the urge to check to see whether there were any wireless networks available or not and to my surprise there were about 6 networks showing up on my computer. The first one I tried was secure though *darn* but the second wasn't *yay* which was another pleasant surprise!

I wrote an email to A. telling him I was using some other peoples wireless network, too funny. I could send emails and browse the internet while waiting for my turn which in the end took almost 3 hours... It was worth it though and quite funny. Never thought waiting at the hairdresser's could be that entertaining...
