Birthday Gal

I'm having my birthday, Yay! I feel so much older all of a sudden *not* I feel happy! A. surprised me this morning; when I came back to the bedroom there was this huge bouquet of beautiful red roses *smile* so sweet!!!!!! They're gorgeous.

And while I was getting ready for work A. brought me another present from his parents, a wonderful bottle of bubbles [champagne]. They also sent me a very sweet email this morning *yes, I've read it! Thank you so much for the present/email!!! * and a card but I didn't open it yet, I will read it this afternoon when I come home. More cards came in over the last few days but I will open them later when I have time to relax and sit down to read them

A. called me at work yesterday to tell me that he took half the day off so that we can spend it together to celebrate my birthday, that's so sweet of him! So whoever will try to call me today will probably get my answering machine *grin* I have no idea what we're gonna do this afternoon but it will definitely be fun!!!

This Saturday I will throw a party for my friends at my favorite Irish bar, just for the diehards who would like to challenge me in a contest of 'Uisque beatha' which is Gaellic for 'Water of Life'; whisky! *grin* I will probably upload pictures of that after Saturday... *wink and nudge*

Well I'd better go, I have some things to prepare before 13.00 because then I'm going to treat some of my colleagues to coffee and a nice big chocolate cake! *yummy* So if you will excuse me, I have some celebrating to do *grin*
