Red Monster
We bought a car last week. My first and our first together. There were some problems but we solved them so far. One more problem needs to be solved called 'The Previous Owner Con Man' but I'll take care of that in a month when he doesn't expect it. Pay back time! In a decent way though, I will inform the police about his activities and hand over the papers and proof of fraud to them. Justice will take over from there...
I didn't drive the Monster yet because I am ill and at home all day updating this blogger *grin*. I still don't feel well. I have a horrible flu again, a sinus infection and a bad cough and sore throat. We were supposed to go to London this weekend but I asked A. to postpone it for a week or so because I feel drained of energy. I would really like to go there and explore the city with A., he is my personal guide so how can I refuse that offer??? I would be out of my mind to do that, insane, mental...
Anyway I'm at home and hoping to get well soon so that I can take the car for a spin *grin*
The weekend was perfect; although I really didn't feel well, I managed to cook dinner on Friday for A., I. and C. who came over from the UK to visit us. We had a wonderful time together. I got a beautiful gift from them; really sweet!!! On Saturday we went to the Cat Cabinet, picked up tickets for a movie, walked around town, did some shopping, had dinner at the pancake restaurant and went to the cinema in the evening to watch 'Aliens vs Predator'. It was sold out [I'm glad we picked up the tix in the morning!]! A cool movie, very nice special effects but alas not much depth... It was alright though, don't get me wrong! At some point, when a Predator was fighting with this Alien, it really made me laugh, the movie wasn't that serious nor scary so I couldn't help it, it was just funny. No disappointment, a cool movie... and you should watch it most certainly! After the movie we went out for a drink at the whisky bar ![]()
Sunday morning they took the plane back home to London and A. and I crashed on the couch, two couch potatoes watching this silly show later on the BBC about a swamp [very interesting though!]. Fever came back and I had to rest and take it easy all day.
A very entertaining and relaxed weekend!
