Recently we moved back into this refurbished building. I must say, it looks awesome and so much better than before. It took them a whole year to do the job and it still isn't completely done yet. But hey, who cares? I found myself looking at our new assistants 'office' while the carpenter was working on the cupboards and fitting everything in; walls, cupboards, a counter, sliding door and so on, like a professional...
We wanted a burglar-and-break-in-proof assistants area where we could store our objects, our properties, our belongings, our machines etc. But somehow they've managed to design for us the most unsafe office possible. To demonstrate this, we decided to take some pictures today to show how silly some architects and their projects can be. Functionality is obviously a word that doesn't exist in their vocabulary. I could write down a whole list of possible errors and annoyances but I won't because it ain't worth my time and energy...
After a whole year of negotiations, changing plans and designs, meetings, emails from one end to the other, the final result cannot be put in words. So see for yourselves and enjoy the moment like I did when investigating our new office...
